As self-employed yoga therapists, what do we need to do to make our businesses fit for purpose in this post-covid age?

Now that the covid pandemic, with its disruptive lockdowns and endless online sessions seems a relatively distant memory, how are our yoga therapy businesses doing?

As self-employed yoga therapists have we gone back to what we know and have always done or have we taken on board new ways of working and embraced the digital age?  

Are our yoga therapy businesses fit for purpose and do we, as yoga therapists, have the right skills to help our businesses progress into this new post-covid era?

In her introductory article, Olivia Rigby, shares her own personal experiences in running her yoga therapy business in the current fast-changing climate.  She explores how her clients’ working practices have changed, alongside her own, creating a new demand for more choice and options for yoga therapy offerings.  

Whilst acknowledging the need to update her current knowledge and skillset along more digital lines she still wanted to find some business training that was relevant to her as a yoga therapist.  

She needed to learn to use new digital techniques in a way that was effective and profitable for her business but didn’t take too much time away from her yoga therapy offerings.
